Professor LIANG Haoguang was born (in 1976) and bred in Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province, which is renowned for its picturesque scenery and creative minds. He received his doctor’s degree in economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and did his post-doctoral research on economic geography in China Academy of Sciences. He is Executive Dean of China Academy of the Belt and Road Initiative, concurrently serves as Dean of Central and Eastern Europe Research Centre, Ministry of Education and Dean of Capital Development Institute of China.  
Professor LIANG is Candidate of Beijing Excellent Talents Program. He was awarded First Prize of Natural Resources Science and Technology Award by Ministry of Natural Resources, First Prize of both the 13th and 14th Outstanding Achievements by Beijing Academy of Social Sciences. His publications include 5 monographs entitled Research on Capital Economic Circle Ecological Zone, etc.. He is Chief Editor of 7 blue books-- Annual Report on China’s Regional Economy(Blue Book), Annual Report on Investment Security of China’s the Belt and Road Construction (Blue Book) and Annual Report on People-to-People Exchange and Diplomatic Development of the Belt and Road Initiative (Blue Book).
He has hosted 1 Major project of the National Social Science Fund of China, 7 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Science and Technology Support Project and Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Fund Key Project. He has presided over more than 40 major projects such as Research on Capital 2030 Economic Development Forecast and Leading Industry Support and Research on Transforming Economic Development Mode to Support Capital World-Class City Development.
