Sachin Salunkhe is an Associate Professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department of Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr.Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. His main research interests are in the area of press tool design, metal additive manufacturing, AI applications in manufacturing, expert systems for die design, sheet metal forming, wear analysis, fatigue analysis and high strain rate. Dr. Salunkhe has more than 55 research papers in reputed journals, conferences and 5 book chapters to his credit. He serves as a reviewer for many reputed journals and is a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT).
Arun Prasad Murali is Assistant Professor of mechanical engineering at Vel Tech Rangarajan, R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India. He primarily works in the field of processing of high temperature materials, including material development, welding, ablative materials, metallurgical characterization, tribology and powder metallurgy. He is a life member of The Indian Institute of Metals, The Indian Society for Technical Education, The Institution of Engineers (India), Electron Microscope Society of India, American Society of Metals and The Institute of Indian Foundrymen, and has published 18 peer reviewed journal articles to date.

J. Paulo Davim is a full professor at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He is also distinguished as an honorary professor in several universities and colleges in China, India, and Spain. He is the series editor of Elsevier’s Woodhead Publishing Reviews: Mechanical Engineering Series.
