Couverture de l’ouvrage Spectrum Access and Management for Cognitive Radio Networks

This book presents cutting-edge research contributions that address various aspects of network design, optimization, implementation, and application of cognitive radio technologies. It demonstrates how to make better utilization of the available spectrum, cognitive radios and spectrum access to achieve effective spectrum sharing between licensed and unlicensed users. The book provides academics and researchers essential information on current developments and future trends in cognitive radios for possible integration with the upcoming 5G networks. In addition, it includes a brief introduction to cognitive radio networks for newcomers to the field.

Preface.- Chapter 1.- Introduction.- Chapter 2.- Spectrum Sensing for Half and Full-Duplex Cognitive Radio.- Chapter 3.- Dynamic Spectrum Access Algorithms without Common Control Channels.- Chapter 4.- Quantified Dynamic Spectrum Access Paradigm.- Chapter 5.- Secure Spectrum Management for Positive Train Control Operations using a Multi-tiered Cognitive Radio Network.- Chapter 6.- Centralized and Distributed Algorithms for Stable Communication Topologies in Cognitive Radio Ad hoc Networks.- Chapter 7.- Cognitive Radio Testbeds: State of the Art and an Implementation.- Chapter 8.- Visible Light based Throughput Downlink Connectivity for the Cognitive Radio Networks.- Chapter 9.- Reconfigurable MIMO Antennas for Cognitive Radios.- Chapter 10.- Cognitive Radio and other enabling technologies for 5G spectrum paradigm
