Undergraduate

Cheryl Hamilton is Professor Emeritus at Tarrant County College where she served as department chair and communication professor and continues to teach each fall semester. She has received the Chancellor’s Award for Exemplary Teaching. Over her career, Dr. Hamilton taught a variety of communication courses to more than 10,000 students, served as mentor to countless beginning teachers, presented more than 40 papers at national conferences, and wrote various textbooks.

Bonnie Creel is Professor of Communication at Tarrant County College. She has her BFA and MFA in Speech Communication from TCU and a Ph.D in Communication from Texas A&M University with a focus on Health Communication. She also was instrumental in developing the Cornerstone Honors Program for the college district and taught multiple courses in the program. In addition to other citations for her teaching, she received the Chancellor’s Award for Exemplary Teaching.

Tony Kroll is Professor of Communication Studies at Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas. He has spent many years consulting with healthcare organizations on communication strategy, communication advocacy, and racial/ethnic disparities. Professor Kroll has presented at more than 40 national and international conferences and has earned the "Top 3 Convention Paper" award from the International Communication Association.
