Langue : Anglais

Coordonnateur : Quaia Emilio

Couverture de l’ouvrage Imaging of the Liver and Intra-hepatic Biliary Tract
This is the first of two volumes that together provide a comprehensive analysis of the embryology, normal anatomy, and pathology of the liver and intrahepatic biliary tract as seen on modern diagnostic imaging techniques. In this volume, readers will find fundamental information on embryology, radiological anatomy, and anatomic variants. A thorough introduction is then provided to each imaging technique, including ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine techniques, angiography, and interventional radiology. The remainder of the volume is devoted to non-tumoral pathology of the liver and intra-hepatic biliary tract. For each disease, readers will find full description of the roles of individual imaging modalities and extensive illustration of the imaging appearances. The authors are world-leading experts in the field, and the book will be an ideal reference for all members of the radiology community, from residents to experts. It will also aid clinicians during their daily practice.

Part I Embriology and Normal Radiologic Anatomy.- Embryology and Development of the Liver.- Liver Anatomy.- Part II Imaging and Interventional Modalities.- Ultrasound of the Liver.- Computed Tomography of the Liver.- Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Liver: Technical Considerations.- Nuclear Medicine of Hepato-Biliary System (SPECT And PET).- Liver Biopsy.- Hepatic Angiography and Vascular Interventional Radiology.- Intrahepatic Biliary Tract Interventional Radiology.- Part III Hepatic and Biliary Tract Non-Tumoral Pathology.- Congenital and Development Disorders of the Liver - Abernethy Malformation, Simple Cysts, Choledochal Cysts, Ductal Plate Malformation, Biliary Atresia, Alagille Syndrome.- Fibropolycystic Liver Diseases.- Inflammatory Liver Diseases.- Liver Steatosis and NAFLD.- Liver Increased Iron Deposition and Storage Diseases.- Chronic Hepatitis and Liver Fibrosis/Cirrhosis.- Vascular Liver Diseases.- Imaging of Liver Trauma.- Non-Tumoral Pathology Of The Intra-HepaticBiliary Tract – Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, Secondary Sclerosing Cholangitis, Igg4 – Related Disease, Primary Biliary Cirrhosis -, Intrahepatic Calculosis.
