David has a specialist elective interest in arthroscopic knee surgery, ligament injuries, and total knee replacement. Alex Trompeter works as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in complex trauma and post-traumatic limb reconstruction at St Georges Hospital in London. This is one of four Major Trauma Centres in London, and is a tertiary referral unit for complex orthopaedic conditions. He was the Gold Medal winner in the 2011 FRCS(Tr+Orth) examinations, and is passionate about teaching and education.
