Secondary Metabolites and Biotherapeutics Developments in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology Series

Langue : Anglais

Coordonnateurs : Kumar Awanish, Kumar Sunil

Couverture de l’ouvrage Secondary Metabolites and Biotherapeutics
Secondary Metabolites and Biotherapeutics presents the latest biotechnological advancements in the production of target secondary metabolites for medicinal use, including topics such as transcriptomics, nanotechnology, gene editing tools like CRISPR/CAS, secondary metabolites source and production.? Secondary metabolites derived from plants as a response to stress have always played a vital role in the pharmaceutical industry to produce medicines. However, their limited production in plants have always raised concerns for large-scale production. With the advancement of modern biotechnology, researchers around the globe are now able to engineer plants with specific chemical compositions.

This book is a valuable resource to researchers in biotechnology, medical sciences, pharmaceutical biotechnology, pharmacology and plant biology.

1. Secondary metabolites and its pharmacological application? 2. Ethnomedicinal bioactive secondary metabolites from wild underutilized plants? 3. Genetically modified plants for medicinal secondary metabolites production? 4. Bioprocessing: In-vitro approach for the mass production of bioactive secondary metabolites? 5. Metabolomics approach to find plant secondary?? 6. Endophytes as a source of novel bioactive Secondary Metabolites? 7. Bioinformatics approach to facilitate identification of undiscovered pharmaceutically important secondary metabolites? 8. Role of Elicitors in production of medicinally important bioactive compound? 9. Pharmaceutical important secondary metabolites of bacteria? 10. Metabolome profiling of fungus for biotherapeutics? 11. Chronopharmacognosy and? secondary metabolites? 12. Nanotech: A tool to enhance bioactivity of secondary metabolites? 13.Secondary metabolites of plant as Anti-?Quorum sensing compounds? 14. CRISPR-CAS for the production of secondary metabolites?
