Alan T. Chiem, MD, MPH, is an emergency physician with specialty training in point-of-care ultrasound. He is Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, in Sylmar, CA. He has been Director of Ultrasound for the Department of Emergency Medicine at UCLA since 2012. Vi Am Dinh, MD, FACEP, is Professor of Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at Loma Linda University Health in Loma Linda, CA. He is also the director for POCUS education for Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
