This richly illustrated atlas, compiled by authors with extensive experience in the field, offers a step-by-step guide to the surgical treatment of tumors, and congenital diseases of the skull base and nasal sinuses. Particular attention is devoted to the various techniques employed for extirpation of tumors and reconstruction of the skull base and Paranasal Sinuses. In order to facilitate understanding of the different approaches, clear surgical illustrations are presented alongside the high-quality intraoperative photographs. Whenever appropriate, technical tips are provided and briefly discussed. Professor Dan M. Fliss has been nominated as Chairman of the Division of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and Maxillofacial Surgery Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center and Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University and is a scientific staff member of the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto and The University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is also a teaching and visiting professor in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and delivered the highly regarded Eugene N. Myers International Lecture on Head and Neck Cancer in 2008. Professor Fliss is a past president of The Israel Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He is an editorial board member of several prestigious journals, including Head and Neck and Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and is on the review board of six further journals. He is the author of some 160 clinical and scientific articles and 18 chapters in textbooks.

Professor Ziv Gil MD PhD, is a Barbara S. Goodman Endowed Investigator (ICRF) and the Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, and the Head and Neck Center at Rambam Healthcare Campus, Haifa, Israel. Professor Gil is the Director of the Aplied Cancer Research Laboratory at the Clinical Research Institute at Rambam and a Senior Member of the Developmental Biology and Cancer Research Program, the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine and Research, The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. He is also a study section member of the Israel Science Foundation, Israeli Cancer Research Association and the Binational Israel-America Science foundation, and sits at the editorial boards of the Head and Neck Journal, Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, Skull Base Journal, Operative Techniques in Otolaryngology and more.
