Emmanuel Nnadozie is an educator, Professor of Economics and author. His scholarly works are in the area of economics and development in Africa. This includes the first edition of this book and research journals such as the Journal of African Finance and Economic Development. He has been a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and a Visiting Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is currently Executive Secretary of the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF). He was previously at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) where he held several positions, including Chief Economist and Director of Macroeconomic Policy Division. He was also Professor of Economics at the Truman State University, Kirksville, Missouri. Afeikhena Jerome is currently Professor of Economics at Igbinedion University, Okada, Nigeria. He has engaged in a broad range of teaching, research, and policy consulting with several agencies in Africa. He has also held several distinguished positions including Visiting Scholar, International Monetary Fund, Visiting Fellow, the World Bank, and Senior Associate Fellow, Saint Anthony’s College, Oxford University. As an accomplished development practitioner, he has published widely on Africa including books and journal articles in World Development, the Journal of Finance and the Banking and Journal of Infrastructure.
