Jane E. Carmel, MSN, RN, CWOCN has been program co-director of Harrisburg Area Wound Care Specialty Program and WOC Nursing Education Program since 2003. Prior to that, she served as a program director for Albany Medical Center WOCNEP. She also is a consultant for home care and hospice agencies and has presented at regional and national conferences.
 
Janice C. Colwell, MS, RN, CWOCN, FAAN is a former president of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society. She has practiced as an advanced practice nurse at the University of Chicago Medicine in both the inpatient and outpatient areas, providing and supervising care to patients with ostomies. She has presented nationally and internationally and published extensively in this specialty field. Currently she is president of Friends of Ostomates Worldwide USA, a volunteer organization providing ostomy supplies to people in need around the world.
 
Margaret Goldberg, MSN, RN, CWOCN is a former president of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society. She became interested in ostomy care when she underwent ileostomy surgery after a long bout of ulcerative colitis. Margaret has chaired the WOCN guidelines task force and is the immediate past president of the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel. She has practiced in acute care for many years and most recently consults to Delray Wound Treatment Center, an outpatient center in Delray Beach, Florida.
