Prior to joining King Abdulaziz University, he also worked as Assistant Professor at Yeungnam Univeristy, South Korea, where he was actively involved in teaching and research activities. He has published research papers in the field of conducting polymers, gas sensors, energy storage materials, photocatalysis, adsorptive removal of pollutants and nanocomposites in the journals of high repute and has also presented his work in national and international conferences.
