Cynthia Kase, President of Kase and Company, Inc., BS UMass and ME Northeastern, both in Chemical Engineering, worked in that field for the first 10 years of her career commencing in 1973. In 1980, she joined Standard Oil Company of California's Corporate engineering department and three years later was transferred into the Company's international oil trading arm, CIOC. She then moved to New York in 1985. After a short stint trading crude, she became Manager, Clean Products Trading responsible for all business in the eastern half of the Western Hemisphere.
