Conversations with over 20 feeders and feedees are analysed through a psychological and sociological lens. The implications for health professionals working in bariatrics are discussed along with directions for future research.
Kathy Charles has been a psychology lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University, UK since 2007. She is a Chartered Psychologist, former Public Engagement Fellow, and has a PhD in forensic psychology from Glasgow Caledonian University. She has previously published work on unusual interests and forensic psychology.
