Robin L. Cautin is Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Sacred Heart University, U.S.A. She was formerly Professor of Psychology, Associate Provost, and Dean of Undergraduate Education at Manhattanville College, U.S.A. Her research focuses on the history of psychology, particularly clinical psychology, the science-practice gap in clinical psychology, and misconceptions in abnormal and clinical psychology. She is the author of many articles and chapters published in peer-reviewed journals and books. She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Eastern Psychological Association, and in 2008 she received the Early Career Award from APA Division 26 (Society for the History of Psychology). She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for the History of Psychology.

Scott O. Lilienfeld is Professor of Psychology at Emory University, U.S.A. He is founder and past editor of Scientific Review of Mental Health Practice, has been a member of more than fifteen journal editorial boards, and has served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology and Applied and Preventive Psychology. His principal areas of interest are personality disorders, psychiatric classification and diagnosis, dissociative and anxiety disorders, and the science-practice gap in clinical psychology.  He has published over 300 articles, book chapters, and books, including Brainwashed: The Seductive Appeal of Mindless Neuroscience (2013), Psychology: From Inquiry to Understanding (2010), and 50 Great Myths of Popular Psychology: Shattering Widespread Misconceptions about Human Behavior (Wiley Blackwell, 2009). His work on psychological science and pseudoscience has been featured widely in print and on TV and radio.  Dr. Lilienfeld is past-president of the Society for the Scientific Study of Clinical Psychology and president of the Society for the Scientific Study of Psychopathy.
