Cone beam computed tomography: Maxillofacial 3D imaging applications
Langue : Anglais
Auteurs : FARMAN Allan G., SCARFE William C.
Cone beam CT imaging is changing the way dentists visualize, diagnose and treat the dental patient by providing highly accurate, multi-planar and 3D imaging. The purpose of this book is to provide CBCT users, irrespective of system, with technical details on image acquisition, provide image protocols and, as well, an evidence-based approach to use of this modality in the context of general and specialty applications. Specific CBCT diagnostic imaging features will be outlined and illustrated with a systems approach for use in interpreting images. Existing and newly developed treatment-guided options afforded by CBCT technology such will be described in detail.
