Mary-Ellen Tyler, holds interdisciplinary Masters and PhD degrees in environmental science and resource management from the University of Calgary.  She has taught in the MSc in Sustainable Energy Development degree program in Quito, Ecuador and a key organizer of the World Summit on Sustainable Energy Mix held in the Galapagos. Dr. Tyler has previously worked with the Government of Canada and is an honorary member of the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects.  She is currently Professor of Environmental Design at the University of Calgary and involved in sustainable energy research.
