Larry Chastain is the program director for Industrial Systems Technology at Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia.  He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic University and a Master’s in Education from Georgia State University.

 

Prof. Chastain has fourteen years experience working in industry engineering and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.  He has been teaching in technical education for 22 years.  He has worked as a consultant for several major companies such as Cooper Tires, E.I. DuPont, Georgia Pacific, and Michelin.
