www.Lavoisier.fr, the international online bookshop, is essentially aimed at the professional. Orders are welcome from all types of organizations and companies, both public and private, throughout the world, as well as from individuals. All orders received via our website are acknowledged by email.

 

Prices

Prices are shown as firm, approximate or unknown. Where a price is shown as approximate, this is because it has not recently been updated (which may not necessarily mean that the actual price is a lot higher, but that the publishers have not given us a current price). If the price is shown as unknown, you can send us a price enquiry by e-mail. We will then contact the publishers to obtain a price (the time taken to get back to you will depend on how quickly the publishers respond). If you would like to order a book where the price is approximate or unknown, you can set a price limit not to be exceeded. The price limit is set by default at 20% above the approximate price or at 80 € if the price is unknown. You can change the price to one which suits you. We always undertake to charge the actual price of the title even if it is below the price limit set by you. For instance, if you have selected a title with an approximate price of 70 € and you set a price limit of 80 €, the sale will go through if the actual price is 75 €, but if the price is 81 €, the order will be cancelled without affecting the remainder of the order.

 

Invoices and payment

Invoices can be paid by any of the following methods: Credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Procard/Purchasing card), the amount is charged when the books are despatched. Payments are processed by secure transaction using the SSL standard. On account if you already have an account with us. Cash on delivery (a supplement of 6.50 € will be payable). Cheque drawn on a French bank or by bank transfer. For this purpose, you can raise a Proforma invoice which you should print. Only books with a firm price appear on the Proforma invoice. Please remember to include the number of the document when making your payment, otherwise it will not, therefore, be possible to allocate it and to process your order. Despatch

Standard delivery Approximate delivery times: 2-3 working days within Metropolitan France, 2-4 days for EU countries, 10-12 days outside the EU. Express delivery Approximate delivery times: next working day by 12 noon within Metropolitan France, 2 days for EU countries, 5-6 days outside the EU. INFORMATION : Shipping fees at least 7 Euros for a 2 pounds package and standard delivery for Metropolitan France.
